Barefoot Shakespeare Company is entering its tenth season of producing free, outdoor Shakespeare.  Taking full advantage of the beauty of Manhattan's Central Park to bring Shakespeare alive, we strive to make the works of William Shakespeare accessible to everyone.  With an eye towards modernization to reflect the world we currently live in, and our recent past to examine how we got here, Barefoot values our relationships with our audiences, encouraging them to participate in our productions, blurring the lines between spectator and participant.  Barefoot also produces Shakespearean events such as the popular "UNREHEARSED: Shakespeare for Sports Fans!", and is available for school workshops and other events.
